For International Students:
International students are encouraged to follow the same application process as all other candidates, adhering to similar requirements:

Given that some of these requirements may be new or unfamiliar to international applicants, additional guidance is provided below to help clarify the expectations.
All students seeking admission in the first year must submit one of the following applications:
The Coalition Application
The Common Application
The QuestBridge National College Match Application
Yale accepts any of these applications equally and without preference for one over another. Applicants should submit only one application per admissions cycle.
Additional Requirements for All First-Year Applicants:
$80 Application Fee or Fee Wver: Pay the $80 application fee through either the Common App or Coalition App online platform.
Teacher Counselor Recommations: Request recommations from two teachers who have taught you in core subjects like English, foreign languages, mathematics, science, or social studies. It's advisable that these recommations come from your final year of secondary school education.
School Report Transcript: Your school administrator should submit both an official transcript and the School Report form. If any form questions do not apply to your institution, they can be left unanswered.
Standardized Test Scores: ACT, AP exams, IB results, or SAT scores are necessary components of your application. that these tests serve as one piece of a holistic evaluation and do not have specific score thresholds for admission.
English Proficiency Tests: Non-native English speakers who haven't completed secondary education entirely in English must take an English proficiency test. We accept TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English qualifications, and DET among others.
Mid-Year Final Reports: Submit a Mid-Year Report if you haven't received new grades by February 1. Admission holders will need to submit their Final Report, which provides concluding secondary school results and exam marks.
