Full Funding at Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs: Investing in Future Public Servants

At SPIA, we take pride in providing comprehensive support to all students through full funding. Our commitment to this approach is driven by our vision for graduates who dedicate themselves to public service after their Princeton experience.

We believe that offering complete funding ensures the affordability and accessibility of Princeton education for all admitted students regardless of their geographical origins or location.

The essence of full funding means that tuition, fees including health insurance, which cover the core academic costs, are fully covered by SPIA for the duration of your studies - two years for MPA candidates, one year for mid-career MPP students, and five years for PhD scholars. Admittance guarantees funding, need for additional application or essay submissions, nor is it tied to campus employment. This financial support is inclusive, reflecting our belief that everyone deserves a seamless academic journey at SPIA.

In addition to the tuition scholarship, we offer a generous stip designed to cover living expenses. If you have external funding, we will top this up to match our comprehensive package.
